Cliffs at Princeville #3201, 2nd Floor, End Unit

Nice place and quiet with very nice apartment, everything you need there, with wonderful balcony on the backside where we could have dinner each night. The staff were very helpful. Pool area was great and nice welcoming snack.
The gym is not a gym but just a little fitness room with two treadmills, one elliptical and a sit bike and some dumbbells. If you need good gym with pull up bar and a bit more area you may go 10-15 min to the outdoor fitness area free to use on pipelani loop close to Princeville center.

The rental was in great shape and provided all the amenities of home. The concierge was so friendly and helpful with helping us plan our excursions and great tips on local cuisine. We will be coming back here again and would recommend this as a great place to stay.

We were greeted with a pleasant staff on our check-in. We checked in at night, around 6:30PM I believe. The place was tidy when we got there, but I instantly noticed an odor; kind of a body odor smell as I opened the door, but it went away on day 2. I appreciate how they had ice trays, beach chairs, and a cooler available for use. They have coffee, toiletries, and a washer/dryer unit with some laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The vibe is very Hawaii too, which my fiancé and I loved. The area is so peaceful and quiet.

By day 3, we noticed a lot of flies coming from the bathroom. We did not use the bathroom trash bin as it was underneat the sink the whole time. We also did not keep anything perishable in the rental. From night 3 to night 5 and the morning we left, we were trying to kill flies because there were a lot of them. We noticed they came from the tiny holes of the bathroom light. We reported it to the receptionist. She said the maggots might have already been there before we came. I wouldve given 5 stars for everything if not for those flies. A few is okay, but it was around 30-40 flies that we killed.

We were surprised they had a small 9-hole putting green. We didn’t bring our tennis rackets but the had some there but they needed to be regriped which I understand they will do that shortly.

The property was very clean and well stocked with dishes, wine glasses and even a cooler to take to the beach and beach chairs. Loved the large windows and 2 patios. No a/c but didn’t need it with the breezes coming thru the unit. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Not many restaurants in Princeville but the resort had a wood fired pizza truck come a few times during the week. A resort close by had other food trucks on site.

Reception was kind and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Had beach chairs, ice chests, drip coffee maker with starter local ground coffee pack, beach towels, tennis and pickle ball courts with borrow pickle ball paddles and balls, gym, free filtered water refills and more. So we and friends tried pickle ball for the first time learning from the web and had a great time. Location made it easy to go to the best beaches with stores and great eateries all easily within range. We'll be back.

We loved our stay here. The master bed was so comfy! My daughters even loved the pull out couch, said it was very comfy as well. All the windows made it feel like we were in a little tree house. Can’t wait to return!!

Great location. Love the water feature at the pool. The Cliffs has bicycles, tennis/pickle ball equipment, and beach toys available to check out. Communal bbqs.
The mattress on the pullout couch needs to be replaced (springs press into your back). Other than the at, all was good. Very prompt and communicative management company.

We really enjoyed staying at The Cliffs. The condo was great for my wife and I. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I enjoyed both of the balconies. Only hiccup was the multiple remotes for the TVs which made it difficult to find programming during the rainy times.

I liked our stay for the most part. The people working there were helpful and friendly all the time! For future stays on Kauai, however, I'll be staying somewhere else. The reasons are, that there's no restaurants, stores or beaches within walking distance. I love to just park the car and walk on vacations. We had to drive EVERYWHERE! The beaches were in Hanalei. Or park on a cliff and walk down trails, if you can find parking. There was also a lack of restaurants in the area. EVERYTHING nearby had long wait times for a table, breakfast, lunch and dinner. That got old quick. There was a food truck that comes to the property making pizza. They were mobbed by hungry Cliffs guests! This property would be perfect if it had a restaurant and/ or a store. It's just too far away from food necessities.

Our 11 day stay in July in Princeville was great. The condo was clean and fresh and had everything we possibly could have needed. I loved that, because it was a second floor end unit, the lanai outside the kitchen/living room was so open and we got a nice breeze all the time and also a bit of morning sun and a bit of sunset also! We spent most of our time out there when we were home. The pool & hot tub options were nice and there were lots of other things that we didn't take advantage of because we were busy visiting family. I'd love to stay there again!!!

The Cliffs was a beautiful and well maintained property. We felt extremely safe and the location was close to everything we needed! The condo was comfortable but a little bit dated. The bed was so comfortable and I slept so good every night! I was a little disappointed with the desk staff of the Cliffs, I needed another Tide laundry soap and the lady gave me a hard time about getting it that’s my only complaint! I would definitely stay at The Cliffs again.

All and all an ok experience. Condo was clean and roomy. Have some criticism. The screen doors don’t lock, and there were no coffee filters.
The worst was the people who run the place. The people look like a club that no one supervises nor do they care about the guests staying there. On 9/29/21 we had a bunch of kids screaming on the lawn at building 3, called the front desk who said the’d send someone over.... and never did. The worst was on 9/30/21 we were at the pool and someone who worked there allowed a dark gray Ford F150 with 5 screaming kids to abuse the pool and playground for hours. The kids were to pull up with screaming abusing the pool, climbing all over the rocks etc and then continued the same behavior at the playground. Then they packed up in the Ford truck and drove away. Every guest at the pool were angry at the because all of us knew they were not guest staying at this facility. Whoever was in charge that day at the desk needs to be fired.

Great place, close to the ocean. Ocean views from the bbq grill area are amazing! Quiet all day, with a cool pool area, thats just large enough. Walking distance to the store.

We were a 2 minute walk away from the view of the ocean and it was so nice to be able to bring our coffee, walk during sunrise and just sit on the lawn chairs to look out at the sea. What won me over was the excellent communication with the property managers. They were all so kind and always responded to our emails so quickly if we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely be keeping this place on our list of places to stay when we come back to Kauai!

Whole family of 3 was pleased with this accommodation. Having a kitchen was totally worth it, even though we hardly did any proper cooking; fresh fruit and raw tuna proved a perfectly adequate diet. The place is equipped better than advertised, e.g. you get an email reminder to bring your own shampoo, but it is actually provided. Take a look in the living room drawers; you will find plenty of useful objects. The space is generous and well laid out. If you feel spatially restricted in your own home, then it is important that your vacation provide a break from that, and this place certainly does. If there is one thing the landlord could improve, it is the sleeping arrangement. The king mattress was mediocre in terms of comfort, and the sofa bed in the living room, while usable, does not come with sheets (though you can get them from housekeeping) and I found it not as good as sleeping on the floor. Drafts are rather strong on the windward side of the island, and the sliding balcony doors don't form a perfect seal, resulting in a bit of nighttime noise, but we did not find it a problem.

Great unit- nice and open. Property was amazing. Would have liked a few more kitchen amenities beyond salt and pepper. Somewhat updated, bathrooms could use a remodel but still clean and usable- don't let this dissuade you! Very comfortable bed, good layout of condo - nice air breeze through both covered lanai's and great to have a washer/dryer.

Overall we had a great experience at this place! The place was spacious with a very large master bedroom and in very clean/good condition. The rental company was very responsive and checked in with us frequently. The pools were awesome; a nice temperature and space for kids to enjoy but also for adults to get some more quiet time. We would stay here again. We gave a 4 for location just because it was hard to find spots to see the ocean but we didn't try very hard.

Our stay at this condo for 16 nights was prefect for the 4 of us, it had everttthing we needed and found it to be quite spacious.i would stay here again and recommend it to anyone, lots of activities from golf, hiking, snorkeling,and swimming in the pool, as well next the pool had tennis, shuffleboard, basketball and pickle ball so we always had something to do. We loved staying at the Cliffs. Though we were initially disappointed that the unit didn't have a/c, the crosswinds with all the windows opened were perfect. We cooked 3x a day for our 15 month old and has everything we needed in the kitchen. The reception desk has umbrellas for rent, which was super convenient. They also had food trucks tues-thu.

This is a beautiful home, very spacious (large bedroom, spacious living room/dining area, 2 bathrooms, good sized kitchen, 2 lanais) with all the amenities we wanted. We could easily have shared this space with another couple, or a family could stay there easily as well. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was very handy... especially the dryer for when towels didn't air dry by the time we wanted to use them again. The kitchen had extras that we needed... (salt/pepper, cooking oil... it's those little things that are so helpful to travelers). The views from either lanai aren't that thrilling but not necessarily bad either. We enjoyed eating out on the lanai with the table and watching the beautiful cardinals and other birds visit. The pool was much closer than it looked on the map... very convenient... and one evening a farmer was there selling a few items, another evening a food truck was there. Everyone was pleasant. Our time in your spacious home was very relaxing, and our time in Princeville and surrounding areas made for a great vacation.

The condo itself was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The only drawback for our stay was the construction work that was happening during our stay. They started early in the morning and the storage area for equipment was beside us.
The condo is in a great location.

The price was so good on this unit, I had to phone the property agency prior to booking just to make sure it wasn't a scam.

When we checked in there I was still half expecting that the unit would be a disappointment or we wouldn't have access to all the resort's amenities or that there would be some other "catch."

But let me tell you, if you too are wondering all these things rest assured: you are getting the best value on Kauai in this condo. The unit was clean, HUGE (as big as our 3 bedroom house back home), gave you access to an outstanding swimming pool (plus tennis, BBQs...), and was close to all the amenities of the North side of Kauai.

The unit could probably use a new coat of paint and some carpentry work, but if the owners did that then they would no longer be charging only $100 bucks a night right?

Terrific property in a private feeling area but close enough to stores and beaches. Clean condos with everything you need to feel at home so you can stay in for dinner or have a relaxing rainy day on. Friendly staff and no longer list of things you have to do before checking out like other condo rentals, helps prolong the vacation.
