Oceanfront one bedroom plus a loft, one bath, top/3rd floor Pono Kai Resort Unit B304 with elevator and beautiful ocean views is centrally located in historic Kapa'a Town with easy access to the North and South shores of Kaua'i. Situated on 13 tropical acres, steps to the beach and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, boutiques, and more!

SEP-NOV 2025 tentative pool closure scheduled (subject to change).

Swim right on the beach fronting Pono Kai Resort or rest pool side and enjoy the outdoor spa and sauna. Barbecue stations are located throughout the property along with laundry facilities on the ground floor or each building.

The downstairs bedroom is furnished with a Cal King bed and the loft bedroom with a Queen bed and Twin bed. Air Conditioning throughout. Beach Gear provided includes: Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler.

Relax and feel at home in a tastefully furnished living space that opens to your private top floor lanai overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Lounge to the stress-free sounds of the rolling waves below and cool ocean breezes. If cooking is your passion, you will delight in the full kitchen with ocean views.

Rent a bicycle and "cruise" along the 2-mile + bike path along the coastline. Ping pong, shuffleboard and even a croquet court are available at Pono Kai Resort making this an ideal Kauai vacation rental for you and your family. The Pono Kai Resorts east side location makes it easy to get to Kilauea Lighthouse, Hanalei Bay and Haena State Beach Park to the north or Poipu Beach to the south. Nearby attractions in Kapaa include Kealia Beach, Lydgate State Beach Park for snorkeling, Kamalani Playground with a "volcano tube", Sleeping Giant Hiking Trail, Wailua Falls, Opaeka'a Falls and the Fern Grotto boat ride are just a sample of what's available on Kauai's eastern shores.

Beachfront at an affordable price makes this Kauai condo a fantastic value. Humpback whales breaching can be seen from your private lanai during the months of November through April or walk along the shores early morning and you may be the first to discover a glass ball!

This unit was the perfect location, clean and close to shopping/ restaurant. Great walks along the ocean! Groundskeepers were always out keeping the place looking great.

The view is amazing

Pros: LOCATION! The view is amazing. Walking distance to shopping & food places. All the amenities you need, chairs, towels, cooler, umbrella, dish soap, laundry etc. Kitchen fully stocked. Air conditioning works great. The patio looks at the ocean, and lovely for coffee and dining. Cons: Few things didn't work like dishwasher kept going on "error", living room fan would not spin, laundry is shared by whole building and hard to get a washer. They have two, and always being used. Furniture is a little dated, and the bed needs a topper, it's very flat. Neutral: Doesn't bother me, but the roosters are your wakeup call at 6:00am, but I'm an early bird! Kapaa traffic is really bad getting out/into the complex-you have to turn right to eventually turn left. But the entire island driving was very busy, and the locals are mostly gracious to let you cut in. I would definitely stay there again~it was a central location, and prime oceanfront!

This condo was AMAZING! Stunning location on the beach with an incredible view from the 3rd floor. Condo is well stocked with almost every amenity you can think of, rice cooker, pineapple corer, beach chairs, boogie boards. I was so impressed. Feels like a loved home away from home. Close and easy walk to nearby shops and boutiques. Can’t wait to go back!

We were more than thrilled with our accommodations at Pono Kai B304. It was a pleasure to work with Garden Island Properties . They were always quick to respond and so helpful! We loved our view, the property was well maintained and the grounds were spotless. Our room had more than we needed, regarding to towels, beach chairs and kitchen supplies. We stayed 10 days, enjoyed the central location and it was like we had our own private beach and walking trail. We can’t wait to stay again!

I could have lived on the balcony. I watched the sunrise every morning which meant during the heat of the day the sun was on the other side of the building. Listening to the loud crashing of the waves while on the balcony was wonderful. I did a lot of work on the balcony and there was no problem with the internet. Ditto with inside the unit. The connection and speed were great. It was nice walking to the food trucks, restaurants and clothing shops on the edge of the property. The grounds were well kept, and I always felt safe. The air conditioning had multiple controls and they were well labeled. The lights and fans were also well labeled and there was no question about how to make something work. The kitchen had more implements than any other unit I have rented. Not only was there a corkscrew for the wine bottles, but it also had a wine bottle stopper. There were more cooking items in the kitchen than I have in my home. The closet had an ice chest and items for the pool but we didn't use them. The bed felt mushy & I thought I would have trouble sleeping but even though we use a hard bed at home, we had no trouble sleeping and no back problems in the morning. Living room chairs and the couch were not very comfortable but they were clean and in good condition. We did not use the loft. I would have liked a 2nd TV in the bedroom.

Unit had a nice east-facing view. Beach a bit narrow but atmosphere relaxed. Centrally located so easy drive north/south to other beaches.

Unit is top floor with a view. Location is close to town, so we walked everywhere. Safeway store we drove to because we loaded up for the week and didn’t want to carry.

Idyllic location with beautiful sunrise, and a perfect walkable neighborhood. I love watching the sunrise then walking over to The Musubi Truck, coffee at Java Kai, followed by picking up some fresh fruit for snacks throughout the rest of the day. Outside noise is well isolated. We could hear the ocean and wind when sitting in the living room, but nothing from bed - not even the roosters. I'll just note that the sounds we heard inside suggests the walls between units are just average. We heard our neighbors a couple times, as I'm sure they heard us. Quiet hours were quiet so all good. The kitchen is stocked with tools and plates for a family. We saw some salt and spices for home cooking. Our only concern was the confusing AC system/remote, but it did great at cooling and dehumidifying the air

What a great property! This place was just stunning! Beautiful location, amazing views, clean and everything we could've asked for! The only thing that could make it better would be a TV in the bedroom, but otherwise no complaints of any kind with this property.

Quiet clean and functional

The family needed a place with a washer and dryer (which was conveniently downstairs of the building), a kitchen, and multiple beds for the kids, which this place was perfect for! The loft made it especially fun for the kids. Right on the ocean, and away from the road, the condo was quiet when we needed it to be.

The most amazing views. Everything was exactly as described. Perfect location for walking to restaurants. We love the walking path in front of the resort.
