Village Manor A21, Cozy, Coconut Grove & Ocean Views

This was a great place for my family and I. It was a great location for all of our activities we had planned. Great views of the water and mountains. Beach was in walking distance. Also close to grocery store, shops and restaurants. Thanks you for letting us stay at your place. It was a great location for our trip.

Let me preface this with, we own a timeshare but it wasn’t available when we needed it. So we’re used to the resort life and the rental listing clearly states this is not a RESORT. Apples and oranges, really.

What is IS is a well appointed condo with full kitchen, great location, and so many pluses. Let’s see what I can list off the top of my head: food storage containers and ziploc bags, SPICES for your cooking pleasure, beach chairs, coolers and ice packs, towels, toiletries, hairdryers, sunscreen and bug repellant, detergents, WiFi, cable TV with DVD player and a few books on the shelf. Cute place. Just big enough for our family of 4.

The one drawback for my California, dry weather butt, is no air conditioning. I can live without a pool since the beach is only steps away, but no AC when it got humid was rough. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and in the living room and 3 stand fans. We don’t have whole house AC at home so we’re used to the drill - close off the house and the shades in the early morning, open up the house and use fans to pull in the cool air (beach side in the case of this condo), open widows and create a cross breeze if you can. For most of our week, this was plenty, but the last 2 days it was HUMID and the winds died down. In Summary:

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohhnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Nachbarn waren sehr nett und haben uns sogar Spielzeug für unsere Tochter geliehen. Super Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sogar zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, wenn wir nicht am, anderen Ende der Welt wohnen würden!

The place was very clean. It was in the middle of everything so the drive to our activities and places we wanted to see was short, perfect for what we needed! The cooler and beach chairs/umbrella was an added bonus! There was no AC but there were ceiling fans and electric fans and the breeze was enough to cool the place down. We had and amazing time! Mahalo☺️

Would definitely stay here again. Minor issue with missing tv bedroom remote, which upon looking for under the bed, we noticed the box board rail was broken. This caused for slight sinking towards the middle of the bed when laying down(bed was still very comfortable). Mgmt was very responsive to missing remote brought new one to us in the morning and noted box board for next renter. All in all the place was exactly as pictured, clean, cute, convenient location.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, ausreichend gross für 3 Personen und reichlich ausgestattet (jede Menge Küchenzubehör, Strandtücher, Sonnenschirm, Camping-Stühle, usw.) Unser Aufenthalt war einfach super! Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und wir erhielten immer schnell eine Antwort. Organisation einfach top! Es wurde sogar extra eine App zur Verfügung gestellt mit allen Informationen (Check-In, Check-Out, usw.) und Tipps für Aktivitäten und Restaurants. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Unterkunft können wir nur weiter empfehlen.

Check in was a breeze. Though the location is close to the highway. It also had a nice view to the ocean and 2 min walk to a beautiful beach. Location is right in the middle of the island, close to wailua river. That made it easy for us to get to our activities. Kitchen had all the necessities that we needed. Unit also had couple of beach chairs, towels and umbrella. We found the unit very clean and did not have any issues during our stay. Unit had no AC but had an extra fan, that along with the nice breeze from the ocean we had a very comfortable stay.

This condo is in a great central location, close to Safeway and shopping and easy access to the bike trail. I could hear the ocean and the refreshing breeze was lovely. The condo itself was very clean, bright and well appointed. We could hear the noise on a couple of nights from the nearby hotels show, but it wasn't overly loud.

Great apartment for the family. Beautiful sunrise each day. Driving is easy to South shore if the weather is rainy (we stayed in December) and North Shore. Ceiling fans and ocean breeze were enough and didn’t miss air conditioning. Thank you!

This property is so beautiful; my family and I had a wonderful stay. The only thing is that it doesn't have AC, and the chickens sing non-stop, so the first night was a bit rough but other than that, it is a great place to stay.

We spent 2 weeks at Village Manor unit A21, and had a great time. 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 and 14). The unit was well appointed, and in a great location, with very easy parking right outside the unit. We enjoyed walking down to the beach, just a few steps away. Shopping, restaurants, and food trucks are all within walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

The location is fine, next to the beach. The check-in and out procedures are easy, nonetheless the need to submit by email prior to arrival all Covid documentation is quite cumbersome and time-consuming. The appearence and quality of furniture in the property seem a bit old and worn out by time. Besides, one feel the lack of air-con. Last but not least, the use of the washing machine and dryer are subject to charges and this is very unwelcom, considering the high rental cost of the property

The management was very responsive. We arrived late on Christmas day and they responded with the key code very promptly.
The unit is in a nice location, close to water, beach walk, shops and restaurants. The adjoining coconut and pine grove is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The 2 bedroom unit is very small overall, especially for 4 adults; the 1/2 bath is very small, closet size with a wooden slotted door. The unit, especially the bathrooms, looks tired and shows its age.

Offered enough privacy for 2 couples. Everything was close beaches shopping walks etc. Free parking. Felt like we lived there not just visiting neighbours were friendly. Arrival was seamless felt had a go to invade anything came up. It was great have stayed there 4 times now would do it again as the price was reasonable also.

We had a great time visiting Kauai. The rental condo was the perfect size for 5 adults. We were worried at first with no ac in the unit, but there were floor fans, tons of windows and a great breeze. The beach was in walking distance, but if not good for swimming due to the lava reef, but perfect to relax and watch the sun rise. Walking distance to some great happy hour places. Convenient grocery store across the street. The condo had everything we needed; would definitely visit again and recommend!!

For of us (two adults, two teenagers) spent a week in our unit. The one and a half baths made all the difference. The apt is very nice, had everything we needed, and was well supplied with linens. The laundry and trash were an easy walk from the unit, as was the water. Although summer is not the time to swim on the beach off Papa's, the proximity made for a wonderful walk along the shore. Everything you need is across the street at the Waipoli Shopping Center, but the complex is set back off the road, so it is quiet. For amenities, responsiveness of staff, location and price, this place cannot be beat. Highly recommend for your consideration.

This cozy place offers all the essentials, with ease to access. The location was beyond perfect. Walking distance from food/shopping plaza. Stays comfortable throughout the day with windows opened/cracked. Back-Porch area is relaxing.

This condo was great for our party of 5. We loved waking up in the morning and drinking our coffee with our chicken friends. We were all able to get ready efficiently even with one shower because there are plenty of mirrors mounted on the walls. The downstairs neighbor Phillip is very friendly and all the neighbors are very quiet. The whole condo was very clean and everything was working perfectly. We would definitely recommend. This is a great central location and we were able to access any part of the island quickly. It is also very close to the airport so we were able to settle in and take off with ease.

There was a noticable smell of oil (heating oil?) that wafted into the bedroom on the ocean side. The bamboo dresser also had an unpleasant smell in the drawers that kept me from putting my clothes in it. Two keys I feel should be provided, rather than only one. For this unit, instructions about beach access would be helpful since a hotel (the Mokihana) stands between it and the beach. Walls are thin ie downstairs neighbor snoring can be heard.

The location was perfect and the unit was very clean and well appointed.

Arrived late at night. Easy to find, all pre-instruction very helpful. 4 of us stayed for one week, plenty of room, nice to have the extra half bath. Updated kitchen. Carpet could use a replacing along with an update to the master bath. We would stay here again. Nice area close to beach (path out back), very close to amenities. Friendly people in the complex. Enjoyed eating at Kauai Pasta and Verde (Mexican) Bull Shed very close but pricey food was good. We put on over 700 kms as we explored the island of Kauai.

Very good place except the roosters calls in the morning ! ha Ha !! (starting at 1hr30 am) Beside that the sound of the ocean made us sleep like babies ! Would recommend that unit(A21 Manor village) ! Thanks

This was a nice little condo with a peaceful view of coconut trees. The beds are very comfortable, and the condo was clean and had the basics. Nice breezes keep it cool enough. Just a short drive from the airport. The roosters are loud, but if you don't like roosters, don't come to Kauai!

The really liked the location, the appartment was clean in general. The property management was professional, helpful and answered promptly to our messages. The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing we were not happy about were the termites we found at least in one of the bathroom and flying in the master bedroom (found two in our bed). Besides that, we definitely recommend this place, we had a great time!

Really comfortable beds. I liked that items were left for our use (i.e.; toilet paper, leftovers like sunscreen from previous renters) Couch is very uncomfortable. Although it's a small place, we had everything we needed there.

We enjoyed the central location of this condo as it was walking distance to shopping & beach. Parking was also very convenient.

Chickens and fire house were noisy at times.

The condo was nice. Not fancy but nice. It met all of our needs sleeping, bathing, cooking and just relaxing. I love that the Coconut trees are right outside of our balcony. Everything one could want is within walking distance. Grocery stores, the beach, restaurants, laundry. It is a quiet property and the neighbors are nice. The only thing that was sometimes a nuisance was the chickens but really they are everywhere and there is not much one can do about that. Plus they are charming in spite of their 3 a.m wake-up calls. We were happy with our stay.

Overall it was a good experience but the place was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. It was clean on the surface but dusty in the corners - probably wouldn't bother most people. It was close to the beach but the path there is a bit funky and not explained in any of the other details provided. The management was very nice and helpful - Sue is the gal that will help you out. Pretty good deal for the price.

We found the rental clean, with everything we needed, convenient location (at the entrance of the town, so going South the exit traffic was not too bad). Did not spend much time indoors. Having two rooms was nice. Sometimes the place was too hot in the evening, but eventually it cooled off with the fans and the open windows.

The property is centrally located (midpoint between Poipu Beach and Princeville area) with Grocery Stores, Coffee shops etc. in walking distance. Clean and Quiet place to stay with ample parking space, Wifi works great. Bike rentals are close by; A short drive to the beach. Lots of places to do morning or evening walks.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Worth the money.
