What a wonderful stay ! Had everything we could possibly want or need from toiletries and a first aid kit and plentiful beach supplies. Recommendation on where to go and eat depending on where we wanted to drive was very helpful as well. Ac was so nice to have at night as well, felt very safe saw nightly patrol and checking of cars. Great walkable location right next to the coconut market place as well.

We stayed there for one week and had a great time with no issues. The communication before our arrival was excellent.

I picked this particular unit because I wanted the A/C and the ground-floor level—after all, there is no elevator. The A/C works well, and the unit is somewhat updated and clean. The location is excellent, close to everything. Coconut Market and Long Drugs are within 5 minutes of walking.

There is a walkway to the beach right in front of the parking lot. I felt like we had our own private beach because hardly anyone was there.

There is plenty of free parking right outside the unit. The pool is also behind our unit, although we never use it. My sister used the laundry mat at the end of the unit, and it was convenient.

Finding the condo complex was easy, but if you come at night, finding the unit may be a little complicated since the sign showing the unit number is small.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit.

The property was as we expected. The beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, and flippers/snorkel (no mask) were a big bonus. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with any item you could need to make a nice meal. Grocery store was a 3min drive down the road and Coconut Marketplace was a very short walk away. We had an amazing week exploring Kauai and would stay here again. We did not spend much time at the property during the day. The pool was basic but fine. The laundry process was complicated. The app would not work for us. We then had to purchase a laundry card and load money on before we could ultimately do the laundry.

Loved the location. It was pretty central, so we could drive to everything we wanted to see. There's also a great store down the street with the best to-go breakfast for the cheapest price. Also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Loved it.

Our suite was the perfect location for us. Walkable to the Coconut Marketplace for quick bites and coffee. Directly across from a walking path that takes you to nice tide pools. And <30 min drive to other towns and beaches across the island. Getting to and from the airport was easy. All the amenities inside the suite were as described and the AC was much appreciated for the warmer afternoons. The beach supplies were also a nice surprise.

We had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay at Plantation Hale Suites. There were 3 pools and one had maintenence being done so we frequented the pool at the middle of the property and found it to be beautiful. There are lush gardens surrounding the tropical oasis. The pool was not over crowded and at times we had to ourselves. The condo came with use of beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and many extras. We felt we had a lot of what we needed on hand and only needed our luggage and groceries. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay at this same location again.

Great location if you want to explore the whole island from this base. Beach park just across the street is good for an evening stroll before a dip in the hot tub. Apartment is well equipped and clean. Internet was reliable and strong. Passion Bakery Cafe nearby offers amazing breakfast, malasadas and pastries. Wailua Drive In is close as well and a great place to stop for a quick dinner. There is also a market and deli within walking distance. We had a great holiday here.

Hubby and I had a beautiful stay in a prime location near beaches, restaurants, and shopping just a short drive from the airport. The condo was very relaxing and set up with everything we needed for our stay from a full size fridge with all the kitchen necessities to Wi-Fi in the living room and bedroom. We couldn’t have gotten a better place! I especially loved the new carpet that was very soft along with the comfy couch. We were able to relax together after exploring all day.

Our experience was very easy from the moment we requested our stay to sadly returning our keycard. We had absolutely no issues. We would definitely recommend this unit!

Mahalo for providing us a great stay for our first trip to Kauai!

This place was very clean, had very friendly staff, and pretty much exactly what we were looking for. Just a short and beautiful morning walk to the beach every morning for the sunrise. Kind of a dream. Hope to come back someday! :) We're already trying to get our parents to go to Kauai and stay at the same location for their lodging.

We had an excellent time basing out of our condo at Plantation Hale! The room was clean, spacious, and with the best carpet, we've seen in a unit like it. Bed was excellent, as was the kitchen. The only drawback was the water pressure. It got the job done - during showers, but only just.

We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend to others!

We’ve stayed in several condos in the Hale complex and this is by far one of the most comfortable and best equipped. Having small necessities like coffee filters and basic spices/oil and a well equipped kitchen make this unit stand out for us. We love the Hale complex as it’s an easy middle of the island place to base from. The coconut market and several resorts with numerous restaurants within walking distance give you plenty of options for food. Highly recommended this place!

This was our 3rd time at Plantation Hale, the first time in H7. We love the location. This unit is very clean and well equipped. Lots of nice extras that you don't get if staying in a hotel. The beds were very comfy and we loved the leather couch with recliners! The TV remotes were a challenge to figure out but once we did it was nice having a large TV and another in the BR. There are 3 pools at the resort. The one with a hot tub is just a short walk away. The reasonably priced laundry room is at the far end of the building which is nice to have access to. One small issue but mgt. addressed it right away after I e-mailed them. They even checked the next day to make sure the problem was solved! The unit stayed cool most of the time from using the ceiling fans but there is AC if needed. The buildings are older but this unit has been nicely updated. It's close to a new drug store and the Coconut Marketplace which has restaurants (JoJo's Shaved Ice!), an ABC store with a deli and lots of nice shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Check in and out process was great, very easy and fast. Unit is in a great location with lots of food choices and grocery stores close by. The unit was in great condition and well equipped, including beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie board. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials.

This was our first return visit to Kauai in 10 years. We liked Kapaa for its central location, and were pleased to be able to walk to many locations. It was easy to access a beachfront path for our daily 4 mile walks.
Property manager was very helpful (we called about several questions), including checking the inventory of kitchen tools to confirm a coffee grinder in real time, so that we could buy beans before checking in! The kitchen was VERY well-equipped, and we liked the knives so well that we purchased a set for our home! The bed was comfortable, space adequate, and the unit was very clean when we moved in. Community barbecues were clean and well equipped. WIFI seemed dependable; Spectrum cable service was a bit quirky (we are used to DISH and DirectTV), but coaching was available. We liked having a ground-level unit, and even though the main highway was very close to the building, our unit was very quiet (road noise was not noticeable).

This unit was beautifully updated. New kitchen appliances and newly tiled bathroom. We really appreciated the leather double reclining sofa. So much better than the standard uncomfortable rattan furniture you find in most condos. All was going great until our upstairs neighbors checked in and thumped around till 3 am! Also the garden faced unit also faces the Main Street which had daily sirens . We learned our lesson to only book upstair units .

Plantation Hale H7 was very comfortable. The suite was stocked with everything you would ever need...from kitchen items to beach fun. They thought of everything. We enjoyed our stay there immensely. The Coconut Marketplace was very convenient for times when we wanted to eat out or to pick up a few items from the store. The only drawback was the long traffic backups on the highway due to nearby road construction.
The location is convenient to the airport and to Kaapa old town. The staff at Garden Island Properties is both efficient and professional. They were quick to answer questions and provide help when needed. We visited three islands on our vacation and Plantation Hale H7 was by far our best stay.

The beds were so soft and comfy, the bathroom and kitchen are updated, and lots of kitchen appliances and tools to use. Only downside I would say is that the instructions we received told us not to go to the front desk for anything like towels or toilet paper. We ended up washing the towels on our own throughout our stay and purchasing extra toilet paper from a store. More clean towels and TP would have been greatly appreciated for a full week’s stay.

The condo was located in a well situated location. It was very quiet at night which allowed for great sleep and relaxing. The lot across from us. between the building and the beach, has a giant perimeter of plywood set up which was a little bit of an eyesore, but did allow for access to the beach through this parcel of land. Overall we were very impressed by the unit and the lodging. The AC was nice as our previous condo on this trip didn't have one and it allowed us to sleep better at night. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to cook our fresh caught fish. Access to the pool and other amenities was top-notch

The place was clean and everything was good. The only problem I had was you could not have drinks at the swimming pool and the way the map shows the property it looks like you can walk straight across the street to the beach. The property a crossed the street is blocked off and you have to walk about 3/4 of a mile to get there. The condo itself was in great shape and I would come back.

Check in was easy when we arrived. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures and spotless! The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you needed (even ice packs, plastic containers etc). There were beach chairs, towels, and snorkel gear as well. Air conditioning in the bedroom and two fans in the condo made it comfortable to sleep in. The pool was just your ordinary pool - nothing fancy but we were at the beach everyday didn't need it. All in all - we would stay there again as we found a great location; it was central to drive around the island.

This condo exceeded our expectations. The reviews were accurate. It has been recently remodeled with granite counters and modern tile in the kitchen and bath. It is spacious with a nice double lazy boy leather sofa and two televisions. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cups, bowls, pots, etc. in case you want to eat in, We loved that there were beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and nice beach towels. The location is very central on the island. It is close to the airport and not too far from Poipu and Prnceville. There is a nice shopping area called coconut marketplace walking distance. It is walking distance to the beach, but not a beach where you will want to spend too much time. It is five minutes from lydgate park which is great for the kids to snorkel and swim. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place.

It was the perfect location, walking distance from grocery stores and beaches. Best part was the apartment came with all the perfect equipments from snorkeling gear, to beach chairs, umbrella and coolers for us to use while we were on vacation. We’re from the outer island and this was the best home away from home vacation I had with my whole family. Even the kitchen was property equipped for a home cook meal when we wanted and the property itself had a wonderful jacuzzi, pool area and barbecue station for us to enjoy too. Even the kids requested to come back here again. I give Plantation Hale Suites two thumbs up

We loved the location of this condo, being central on the island. This condo had it all - everything we needed to cook our own meals, a barbecue nearby, upgraded appliances, nice big tv and comfortable sofa. There was snorkel gear, beach umbrella, two sizes of coolers, iron and ironing board. The only disappointment was renos on the exterior of the building near our unit kept us from sharing coffee on the lanai in the morning due to the sounds of saws and hammering.

Plantation Hale is a quiet place to stay, we often had the pool all to ourselves. It was nice to simply open the door of the lanai and go straight to the pool.

My family stayed for a week in June. The location was centralized for where we wanted to go. H7 was furnished and equipped with everything we needed from satellite TV, recliner couch, few steps from pool, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, cooler for bringing food and kitchen. GIP communicated clearly with check in and out procedures. We enjoyed our stay!

The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and other tableware. The owner has beach chairs, boogie boards, and ice chests for visitors to use. There are 3 pools (although one was closed during our stay). There is no view of the ocean due to a large fenced and boarded area. You can walk to the ocean through a kind of sketchy abandoned lot. There is no actual beach though. However, we wanted to see as much as we could of the island so we drove to the different beaches and other sites we wanted to see. The rentals location is on the east side of the island. The west, south and north sides of the island were very close and easy to get to. The longest drive was when we went to the west side and that took only an hour. Each day we drove to a different section of Kauai. My husband and I brought our 15 year old granddaughter and we were all pretty bummed out that it rained all day, everyday day for 9 out of our 12 day trip. Otherwise, we were happy with the rental.

Plantation Hale is in a great location - central to everything and everywhere on the island. It is also close to a great Farmers' Market on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Coconut Grove shopping plaza. We would definitely stay here again
We would recommend leaving a broom in the unit. We also would recommend new mattresses - they were a little saggy

This unit was comfortable and well furnished including two excellent high definition TVs. The kitchen was well equipped, although having a dishwasher would have been even better.

It was wonderful! I was impressed by all the extra little stuff like beach chairs and coolers were in our unit. Very clean and comfortable.

We had such a relaxing time at Plantation Hall. Everything in the condo was comfortable and had a good flow. The front desk for the condos were friendly and accomodating, we had problems with inter island flights and they were a great help. The condo was central to north and south parts of island. I would recommend this property for your vacation.

This property was absolutely the BEST place to call home during my daughters grad trip!! The condo was Perfect, Clean, and Comfortable and had all the amenities that were needed!! Just pack a bathing suit and your set! The girls loved that the beach and pool were right out the door and shopping was just a short walk. MoPed rental was great and got them all over the island! The ABSOLUTE BEST was management taking care of the girls when their flight was cancelled at 10pm (!) and rescheduled for 24hrs later. Plantation Hale put the girls up and made sure they had a place to stay! WE WILL BE BACK!! Most AWESOME vacation EVER!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here!! Lots of Bang for a small price!!
